Sensory Friendly Halloween Event

Happy Halloween!

As October winds down and we get a little spooky, Prism wanted to invite families into our center for some sensory fun and play. On Thursday October 28th, we set up our clinic for a small party for children and families alike to see our space, hang out, and get a little Halloween-y!

We created a sensory friendly environment where our young guests practiced trick-or-treating, made Halloween crafts, and played in our therapy room. We loved meeting everyone and seeing the little ones get in the Halloween spirit. There were so many great costumes!

Here are some pictures from yesterday’s set up!

Even our play-tent was in on the spooky fun, dressed up as a scarecrow for the night.

Meet some of our spooky new students, ready to learn some pumpkin-facts!
Our arts and crafts station, where students could decorate a spooky paper plate ghost or a jack-o’-lantern!

We had a great turn-out at the event, with lots of students coming by, grabbing some toys, and spending the evening playing together. We will be hosting a Holiday event in December so stay tuned for more information.

Remember to stay safe this weekend and have a Happy Halloween!
